Flex

- slightly shiny, smooth surface
- extremely durable
- Up to 3 colours per design

What is flex?
Flex is a printing technique where the design is cut from a coloured foil and then pressed onto the shirt under high heat. Some flex printing features are:
Brilliant colours
The printed colours have a slight shine to them and contrast extremely well with fabric.
Longevity and durability
Tests have shown that the form and colour of the flex print barely change after 100 washes. It is made of a flexible and resilient material - even thin lines do not break.

Flock

- velvety feel, like a thin layer of plush
- extremely durable

What is flock?
Flock is a printing technique where the design is cut from a coloured foil and then pressed onto the shirt under high heat. Flock printing features:
Elegant appearance
A flock print has a velvety, fuzzy surface. The foil (0.5 mm) is somewhat thicker than flex, which causes the design to appear slightly elevated from the apparel and results in the plush feel. The colours have a soft glow to them.
Longevity and durability
Flock designs retain their colour brilliance after many washes.

What is special flex?
Special flex prints differ normal flex prints due to the special visual effects in the printing foils.
Glitter and Sparkle
Designs printed with these foils glisten and reflect light. The sparkle foil looks like confetti made with small, shiny pieces. The glitter foil has finer pieces and can be compared with metallic paint on cars. Both foils have intense colours.
Camouflage
This special print foil has a mix of white, green/brown and black patterns characteristic of that found on army clothing. Click here for an example.

Digital Direct

________________________________
- smooth, surface
- directly printed onto the garment
- Full colour design

What is digital printing?
Digital printing is the ideal printing technique for photos and colourful designs which have gradients. This printing technique does not last as long as flex and flock. The colours fade over time.
Digital printing is divided into two different techniques: Digital Direct and Digital Transfer.
Digital Direct
The print is sprayed directly onto the apparel. Therefore, the design feels softer and is more comfortable to wear than Digital Transfer.
